Please read and be sure that you understand the following policies of Your Guide in Seville (YGIS) applied on all bookings on our site.
Booking a tour
To complete an online reservation a bank transfer of 100% of the total tour price is required. Any possible bank fees or commissions are paid by the client. Our receipt of the transfer will secure your reservation. Once you have reserved your tour, you will receive a confirmation email with information such as arrival and departure details, tips for preparing for your tour, area information and emergency contact information.
Cancellation or change by the client
All cancellations must be communicated via email by the person who submitted the booking form and confirmed by YGIS. Refunds will be based on the day we receive the written notice.
Depending on the time of cancellation a different refund is applied:
At least 90 days before the tour, no penalty applied.
From 60 to 89 days before the tour, 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
From 30 to 59 days before the tour, 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
From 1 week to 29 days before the tour, 75% cancellation fee will be charged.
Less than 1 week before the event’s date, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
A change with no charge to a different type of tour or to a different date, in the same calendar year, will be allowed up to 90 days before the original tour date depending on availability. Changes within 90 days of the original tour date are subject to cancellation fees as outlined above. Note: Changes in tour type or date made at least 30 days prior to the tour date may be made at no charge for all tours during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Refunds will not be made for a participant arriving late on a tour. Arriving at the agreed meeting point more than 30 minutes later than the scheduled time will be considered a non-appearance by the client.
Refunds will not be made for a participant not using services offered as part of a tour.
Cancellation or change by YGIS (Your Guide in Seville)
We reserve the right to cancel the tour in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, inaccessibility of tourist attractions due to the actions of government bodies or monument authorities, public transportation delays or cancellations, civil or political unrest, terrorism, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, or other force majeure circumstance (health issues). In the unlikely event that such circumstances arise, we will contact you immediately to reach an agreement, by giving you the option of alternative services or a full refund. No additional compensation will be paid over. YGIS disclaims responsibility or liability for any other personal expenses incurred by you before or as a result of a tour cancellation, such as airline tickets or other expenses. The new tour or the refund will constitute full and final settlement and discharge of all liability on the part of YGIS concerning the cancellation of the original tour. Tickets already bought for the client and included in the original tour cost, will be at his disposal at the official price in case he would like to use them either way.
Modification of a tour
It is unlikely to have to make changes to your tour either before or after you have booked. However, YGIS reserves the right to alter the itinerary, without paying compensation, if it is in your interest to do so. Most changes will be minor, and we will advise you of them as soon as possible. The guide is not responsible for changing/reducing the itinerary of a visit due to extreme weather situations, delays (by the client or 3rd parties), unforeseen events or any situation beyond their control.
Travel Insurance
YGIS does not assume any responsibility or liability for unforeseen circumstances such as weather, flight cancellations/delays, ground travel incidents to the tour departure point, the actions or services of any facilities visited during the tour; or incidents such as personal emergencies, injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings. Therefore, we recommend that you determine your need for and obtain appropriate personal property, health/accident, and cancellation/travel insurance.
Clients´ responsibilities
The client is responsible for transport to the meeting point or from the ending point agreed with the guide, to be on time in order not to affect the duration/itinerary of the tour, their sufficiently good health, and their behavior. The guide reserves the right to interrupt or end a guided tour in case of an inappropriate attitude on the part of the client.
Minors
Families are most welcome. Children under the age of 18, however, must be accompanied on the tour at all times by a parent or legal guardian.
Safety during the COVID-19 pandemic
The safety and well-being of the participants is our priority during these unusual times. Social distancing measures will be implemented wherever is possible and YGIS will share the details at the start of the tour. Please have your own hygiene face mask with you throughout the tour for instances in which it may be needed. In any case YGIS will have a supply of masks in case you forget. We will also have a supply of antiseptic wipes available along with hand sanitizer. However, we do request that you have your own travel sized supply with you as well. Our partners (private transport, sites to be visited, and restaurants) have high standards of cleanliness in their norm as well, implementing enhanced sanitization procedures.
